2010 has seen the rise of Snow Flakes & Rishabh Joshi, an up and coming duo from India. Having met through a mutual friend, they instantly took a liking to each other’s musical sense and decided to join forces to create their unique sound, characterized by strong grooves and melodic touches.
Individually speaking,2010 was a good year for both Snow Flakes as well as Rishabh Joshi. Snow Flakes’ ‘India’ was picked up by Ferry Corsten’s Flashover Recordings for its sublabel Levare and has since received tremendous support from top artists, including Ferry Corsten, Andy Moor, Ronski Speed and many more. On the other hand, Rishabh Joshi, along with a friend from back home remixed Nadia Ali’s Love Story, which was released on Times Music as the 2010 Sunburn Festival Anthem and has received support from Lost Stories and other big names in the Indian electronic music scene.
2011 surely seems to be bright for the young lads from India with many remixes and groundbreaking originals in the pipeline.
